Introduction

This is a list of United States Air Force base newspapers.

Names in each entry are listed in chronological order of use. External links are included to official webpages for the newspaper.

Dates in parentheses with an external link are the years digitized copies are available.

References showing the front page of the newspaper are preferred due to the ability to verify bibliographic information first-hand.

Noteworthy is that many of the references that came from Air Force base sites are about the newspapers ceasing their print editions and date to circa 2007.

Lists of base periodicals can be found in an issue of the Southwestern Historical Quarterly and on the State Archives of North Carolina website.

An introduction to the role of base newspapers can be found in a monograph titled The Internal Communication Program.
